CERVINIA

DISCOVER & EXPLORE

The Matterhorn Ski Paradise has 350km of pistes linking Italy's Cervinia with Switzerland's Zermatt, all on a single ski pass. Boasting one of the best snow records in the Alps and Europe's highest ski lift at Klein Matterhorn (3,883m), the resorts offer something for all levels of skiers. On the Italian side the high altitude, sun drenched slopes between Plan Maison (2,550m) and Plateau Rosa (3,480m) offer wide, gentle and immaculately groomed cruising runs perfect for beginners and intermediates. The experts can head over to Zermatt for the more challenging terrain and some Swiss hospitality! There are numerous off piste options with heliskiing throughout the region.

For the non-skiers, the recently opened state-of-the-art Matterhorn Alpine cable crossing means you can do a day trip to Zermatt as a pedestrian. You can spend the morning shopping in the luxury boutiques of Zermatt followed by taking the Gornergrat railway up the mountain for lunch in front of the famous Matterhorn and then make it back to Italy for Aperitivo...!

Off the mountain, Cervinia's charming, pedestrianised centre is lined with cosy bars, stylish Italian boutiques and excellent restaurants. When you are not on the mountain, there's plenty to enjoy, from ice skating, snowmobiling and husky sledging to paragliding beneath the majestic Matterhorn, or Il Cervino as it is known to the Italians.

High, sunny, snow-sure and spectacular — Cervinia offers effortless skiing with refined Italian-style cuisine both on and off the slopes.
